BERAKAS GARRISON, Friday, 22 July 2022 – The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) held a Dinner Night in conjunction with its 56th Anniversary at the Officers' Mess, Berakas Garrison. The Guest of Honour of the event was Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, the Commander of RBAirF. In attendance were the Deputy Commander of RBAirF, RBAirF's Board of Executives, Senior Officers, Officers and their spouses.
The event commenced with the Chief Steward reporting to the Guest of Honour, followed by a photo session with the RBAirF's Board of Executives and Senior Officers. The event then resumed with the recitation of Doa Selamat, the mess dinner and thereafter, a speech delivered by the Commander of RBAirF.
In his speech, the Commander of RBAirF mentioned the growth and achievements that RBAirF have attained. One of them was sign the significant support provided to the Ministry of Health in combatting COVID – 19 over the past year. He also highlighted the ability of the RBAirF to continue with capability planning despite the challenges of the implementation on Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and with the shift to an endemic world, more opportunities for overseas courses, exercises, conferences and exhibitions. The Commander addressed the major achievements of RBAirF over the past year for example the Unmanned Aerial System of 39 Squadron inaugurated by His Majesty Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam, the induction of Aerial Gunnery system, Minigun M134D, the launch of RBAirF's official Instagram account and the inauguration of the Military Flying Sectors which will be expected by October this year.
The event was also enlivened with the musical performances by the RBAirF officers and the RBAF band and concluded with the signing of the parchment.
MAJLIS MAKAN MALAM BERADAT SEMPENA HARI ULANG TAHUN TUDB KE-56
BERAKAS GARISON, Jumaat, 22 Julai 2022 – Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB) telah mengadakan Majlis Makan Malam Beradat Sempena Hari Ulang Tahun TUDB yang Ke-56 di Mes Pegawai, Berakas Garison. Tetamu Kehormat majlis ialah Brigedier Jeneral (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Pemerintah TUDB. Turut hadir ialah Timbalan Pemerintah TUDB, Badan Eksekutif TUDB, Pegawai-pegawai Kanan, Pegawai-pegawai serta pasangan.
Majlis dimulakan dengan
Chief Steward melapor kepada Tetamu Kehormat dan diteruskan dengan sesi bergambar ramai Pemerintah TUDB besama Pegawai-pegawai Kanan TUDB. Acara seterusnya diikuti dengan bacaan Doa Selamat, makan malam dan ucapan daripada Pemerintah TUDB.
Dalam ucapan beliau, Pemerintah TUDB telah pun berkongsi sama tentang perkembangan dan pencapaian TUDB sejak penubuhannya. Antaranya adalah dalam menyokong usaha Kementerian Kesihatan dalam memainkan pelbagai peranan bagi membendung penularan wabak COVID-19. Meskipun terdapat banyak cabaran dalam mengimplementasikan
Business Continuity Plan (BCP), Pemerintah TUDB berbangga TUDB mampu mengekalkan tahap keprofesionalisma semua anggota dalam menangani cabaran itu. Dengan perubahan kepada fasa endemic, TUDB berharap untuk diberi peluang lagi untuk menghadiri kursus, eksesais, persidangan di luar negeri. Disamping itu juga, Pemerintah TUDB juga mengumumkan pencapaian TUDB yang mana diantaranya adalah perasmian Sistem Udara Tanpa Pemandu (UAS), 39 Skuadron oleh Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam, pengiktirafan sistem Aerial Gunnery, Minigun M134D, penubuhan akaun
Instagram TUDB yang rasmi dan juga perasmian
Military Flying Sectors yang akan diadakan pada bulan Oktober.
Majlis diserikan lagi dengan persembahan daripada Pegawai-Pegawai TUDB dan Kumpulan Pancaragam ABDB dan diakhiri dengan Tetamu Kehormat menandatangani Lembaran Kenangan.
